Nyírségvíz Zrt. looks environment protection for a basic obligation during the everyday activities. Our objective is to keep the environment-loading effects of our activity as low as possible, and to prevent environment-contamination. Our environment-protective activity is many-sided. We follow up the presence of more environment-loading materials, to agree the laws concerning air purity protection, hazardous wastes, water quality protection, sewage treatment, disposal and quantity of sewage sludge. Through supplying data into the Waste Information System (WIS – HIR), we contribute to the uniform, systematic registration of the contaminating materials. Parallelly, we have prepared a five-years waste management plan according to Governmental Order 126/2003. (VIII.15.), to decrease the quantity of waste. Our objectives are the effective management of natural resources, the selective waste collection, and recycling, to decrease the quantity and risk of the arising waste.
